Škoda Auto India widens retail network to 350 touchpoints, eyes regional growth

Škoda Auto India has expanded its nationwide network to over 350 customer touchpoints across 193 cities, marking nearly 85% growth from 191 touchpoints in 2021. The company reached the milestone on October 30, 2026, with the inauguration of its 350th touchpoint in Imphal, marking its entry into Manipur and the first presence of a Volkswagen Group brand in the state.

The network, supported by 79 dealer partners, spans 29 states and Union Territories and includes 270 sales and 203 aftersales touchpoints, with multiple two- and three-service facilities. Between January 2025 and October 2026, the company added 58 showrooms across 38 new cities and 45 workshops across 34 cities. New outlets accounted for over 25% of overall sales between January and October 2026.

In Siliguri, the expansion highlights the potential of eastern India as an important market for automobile sales and aftersales services. Siliguri’s position as a commercial gateway to North Bengal, Sikkim and neighbouring regions could make improved dealership access and service availability relevant to customers across the wider area. However, the company has not announced a specific new investment in Siliguri.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said dealer partners were central to the company’s growth strategy. The brand’s network ranked first for dealership customer experience in the CarPhD survey covering 16 cities, 18 brands and 88,000 customer reviews. Škoda offers the Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq in India and sold 72,665 cars in 2025, recording 107% year-on-year growth.
