President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to arrive in Odisha today for a three-day visit. Her itinerary includes the inauguration of Jagadguru Kripalu University in Cuttack, along with participation in various official, educational, and cultural events across Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Ganjam districts. She is expected to reach Bhubaneswar this afternoon, marking her return to her home state.
Later, the President will inaugurate Jagadguru Kripalu University in Banara near Cuttack. Tomorrow, she will travel by special train to Berhampur and later drive to Taptapani to offer prayers at the Maa Kandhuni Devi and Shiva Temples, resting at the Army Air Defence College in Golabandha for the night. Extensive security measures are in place, with approximately 40 police platoons deployed and no-fly zones established over key locations to ensure safety during her visit.
