ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has launched the ICICI Prudential Life BSE Enhanced Value 30 Index Fund, strengthening its ULIP portfolio with a value-oriented investment product aimed at long-term wealth creation through disciplined equity exposure.
The newly launched fund will invest in 30 companies selected from the BSE Large & Mid-cap universe based on valuation indicators such as book value-to-price, earnings-to-price and sales-to-price ratios. The company said the fund follows a transparent, rule-based and passive index-mirroring strategy designed to help investors participate in attractively valued businesses with strong fundamentals.
Manish Kumar, Chief Investment Officer of the company, said the fund combines value-based stock selection, diversification across sectors and market capitalisation segments, along with periodic review and rebalancing to maintain portfolio balance. He said the strategy is intended to help customers stay invested confidently even during volatile market conditions.
According to the company, the ICICI PRU BSE Enhanced Value Index delivered annualised returns of 32 per cent over three years, 28.9 per cent over five years and 19.4 per cent over ten years as of March 30, 2026. The fund will be available through several ULIP offerings including ICICI Pru Signature Assure, SmartKid Assure and Smart Insurance Plan Plus (SIP+), along with life cover benefits.
