Škoda Auto India has unveiled the new Slavia, strengthening its sedan portfolio with refreshed styling, new technology, enhanced comfort and additional safety features. The company also announced the return of the Octavia RS and the all-new Superb TDI to the Indian market. The new Slavia gets all-new LED headlamps and taillamps with sequential turn indicators, revised front and rear styling and new alloy wheel designs. For the first time in its segment, the sedan will offer a rear-seat massage function and an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission with the 1.0 TSI engine. It will also retain the six-speed manual and 1.5 TSI with seven-speed DSG options.
The sedan features a 360-degree Area View camera, Park Pilot with front sensors and a next-generation infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Its AI Companion, powered by Google Cloud, provides voice-based assistance. The Slavia continues with its 5-star Global NCAP safety credentials and six airbags as standard. The new Slavia will be offered in multiple variants, including the Monte Carlo trim at launch. Pre-bookings are open at ₹15,000.
Škoda has also opened pre-bookings for the Octavia RS, limited to 50 units, while expressions of interest are being invited for the Superb TDI, with deliveries expected by the end of the second quarter of next year. The three sedans will be supported by Škoda Super Care, including a four-year/100,000-km warranty, four years of roadside assistance and four labour-free services.
