Airtel Business, the B2B arm of Bharti Airtel, and state-owned telecom company ITI Ltd have entered into a strategic collaboration to provide integrated digital and telecommunications solutions to enterprise customers across India. The partnership is expected to strengthen Airtel Business’s presence in the public sector, including the Defence sector, by leveraging ITI Ltd’s established position and opportunities in government procurement. Under the collaboration, the two companies will jointly identify and address enterprise requirements related to digital transformation, connectivity, data centres, cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. The partnership will combine Airtel’s high-speed enterprise connectivity offerings, including optical fibre connectivity, GPON, SD-WAN and private 4G/5G networks, with ITI’s capabilities in secure data centres and sovereign cloud services. The companies will particularly focus on regulated sectors such as banking and public sector undertakings, offering solutions including industrial IoT-based asset tracking, AI-powered analytics and end-to-end cybersecurity. ITI Chairman and Managing Director Rajesh Rai said the partnership would help address evolving enterprise technology needs, while Airtel Business CEO Sharat Sinha said resilient, sovereign and regulation-compliant digital infrastructure is essential as India advances towards a digital-first economy. The collaboration comes as Airtel continues to expand its data-centre and sovereign cloud businesses, while ITI, India’s first PSU established after Independence, continues its role in manufacturing and supplying telecom equipment. The partnership aims to support secure digital transformation and strengthen India’s enterprise technology ecosystem.
