The Association of Professional Academic Institutions, West Bengal (APAI-WB) has successfully organised the APAI-WB Pre-Counselling & Education Fair 2026 at Vrindaban Garden, Sahapur, Malda, providing students and parents with a comprehensive platform to explore higher education opportunities and make informed academic and career decisions. The fair was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Shri Khagen Murmu, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Maldaha Uttar; Shri Gopal Chandra Saha, Hon’ble Member, West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Malda; Shri Sardar Taranjit Singh, President, APAI-WB; Shri Rajanvir Singh Kapur, IAS, District Magistrate & Collector, Malda.
Designed to support students preparing for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, the fair showcased a diverse range of professional courses, including Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Management, Architecture, Computer Applications, Hospitality Management and other industry-relevant disciplines. Students and parents had the opportunity to interact directly with academic experts and representatives from leading APAI-WB member institutions, gaining first-hand information on courses, admissions, scholarships, skill development and career prospects. Addressing the gathering, Sardar Taranjit Singh, President, APAI-WB, said, “Choosing the right academic pathway is one of the most important decisions in a student’s life. Through this initiative, we aim to provide students and their families with the information and confidence needed to make well-informed choices.”
The fair witnessed an encouraging response from students and parents from Malda and neighbouring districts, reaffirming the growing demand for structured academic counselling and career guidance. The initiative further underscored APAI-WB’s commitment to making quality educational information accessible to students across West Bengal.
