Education technology company PhysicsWallah (PW) has announced the performance of its students in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2026, with several candidates securing top positions in the All India Rank (AIR) list, reinforcing its presence in India’s competitive test preparation market. Among the top performers were Ravikant Diwakar (AIR 55), Shivansh Anand (AIR 152), Divyansh Jaiswal (AIR 173) and Sakshi Kumari (AIR 192). The company said students achieved success through its hybrid learning ecosystem, which combines online courses with technology-enabled PW Vidyapeeth centres, catering to different learning preferences.
PhysicsWallah also organised a felicitation event in Siliguri to recognise the achievements of local students. Among those honoured were Sagnik Chakraborty (AIR 4385), Chandrachur Sen (AIR 4653) and Duttadri Banik (AIR 6483). Students credited PW’s concept-based teaching, daily practice papers, mock tests, video solutions and structured doubt-resolution system for helping them prepare effectively for the examination.
Founder and CEO Alakh Pandey congratulated all NEET aspirants, describing the results as a reflection of discipline and perseverance while encouraging students who missed their targets to view the examination as only one milestone in their academic journey. The company said its NEET preparation platform integrates AI-personalised revision, 24×7 doubt resolution and technology-led learning tools to make quality education accessible and affordable.
Siliguri is emerging as a significant education hub for North Bengal and the Northeast, with rising demand for organised coaching and digital learning platforms. The city’s strategic location and expanding student base have encouraged edtech companies to strengthen their offline presence alongside online offerings, making it an increasingly competitive market for higher education and test preparation services.
According to the company, nearly 20 lakh students appeared for NEET (UG) 2026, of whom around 11.21 lakh qualified for admission to undergraduate medical programmes, highlighting the scale of India’s medical entrance coaching industry.
