Galaxy Health Insurance, India’s fastest-growing standalone health insurance company, announced its expansion into North Bengal with the launch of an Area Office in Siliguri. The health insurance company is jointly promoted by the TVS family Shri. Venu Srinivasan and the family of insurance veteran V. Jagannathan. The new office is the company’s second in West Bengal and reinforces its commitment to expanding access to quality health insurance across the region.
Siliguri is one of eastern India’s fastest-growing commercial centres, connecting multiple districts of North Bengal as well as neighbouring states. The city’s strategic location, expanding healthcare infrastructure and rising demand for health insurance make it a key market in Galaxy Health Insurance’s growth strategy.
The Siliguri Area Office will help in enabling the company to strengthen its advisor network, expand cashless hospital partnerships and enhance customer service across the region. As part of its expansion plans for West Bengal, the company aims to onboard over 5000 insurance advisors and further strengthen its healthcare provider ecosystem during FY2026–27.
