Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Fortune Global 500 company and Maharatna PSU, has expanded its premium LPG offering Bharatgas Lite ZIP to Kolkata, Siliguri, Durgapur, Asansol and Bardhaman in West Bengal, as part of its landmark nationwide rollout across 100 cities.
The offering combines BPCL’s lightweight Bharatgas Lite composite cylinder with Instant New Connection and Express Delivery, positioning convenience, speed and ease of handling at the centre of the LPG consumer experience. The composite cylinder is lightweight, corrosion-free and transparent, allowing consumers to view the LPG level while offering easier handling and a contemporary design.
In Siliguri, the rollout comes as consumers increasingly look for faster and more convenient access to everyday services. As a major commercial gateway to North Bengal and a growing urban consumption centre, Siliguri could provide an important market for BPCL’s convenience-led LPG proposition, particularly among working professionals, young families, students, senior citizens and its floating population.
BPCL Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Khanna said Bharatgas Lite ZIP reflects the company’s commitment to making LPG access simpler, faster and more convenient. He also acknowledged distributor partners for their support in ensuring uninterrupted consumer services during recent supply challenges.
The West Bengal expansion follows Bharatgas Lite ZIP’s launch in Mumbai on July 18, 2026, and forms part of BPCL’s broader strategy to move beyond conventional cylinder delivery towards differentiated, consumer-centric LPG solutions.
