Amway India launches Nutrilite Ayurveda, targets Rs 100 crore category in two years

Amway India on Wednesday announced a strategic expansion into Ayurveda with the launch of Nutrilite Ayurveda, unveiling nine new products and setting a target of building the category into aRs 100 crore business over the next two years.

The company said the initiative aligns with the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision and the government’s focus on strengthening the AYUSH ecosystem. The products combine Ayurveda’s traditional knowledge with more than 90 years of Nutrilite’s botanical science and are manufactured at Amway India’s facility in Tamil Nadu.

The first phase will introduce three formulations — Kalamegha for healthy liver function, Shigru (moringa) to help reduce extra fat deposition and inflammation, and Vrikshamla (garcinia) to support metabolism and satiety.

Amway India Managing Director Rajneesh Chopra said the growing Ayurveda ecosystem could create economic opportunities, strengthen India’s capabilities in traditional wellness and support its emergence as a global hub.

The company said the botanicals are sourced from organically cultivated NutriCert-certified farms and undergo DNA fingerprinting, active ingredient testing and seed-to-supplement traceability, along with testing for contaminants, heavy metals and microbiological safety.

The three products, priced at Rs 449, Rs 651 and Rs 449 respectively, will be available from September 8 through Amway-authorised channels, stores and its website.
