Infinix HOT 70 Pro targets mid-range buyers with interactive rear display and 5G

Infinix has launched the HOT 70 Pro in India, strengthening its presence in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment with a focus on design, gaming, camera capabilities and long-term software support. The device starts at ₹22,999 under the Day 1 offer, including applicable bank offers. The key differentiator is the Active Matrix Cube (AMC), which provides interactive notifications, ambient lighting, mini-games and personalised patterns. The handset also features the Dynamic Shine Design in four finishes—Thermo Orange, Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple and Dive Blue—with select variants offering colour-changing or light-reactive effects.

The HOT 70 Pro sports a 6.76-inch FHD+ 144Hz display, 240Hz touch sampling and up to 910 nits HBM. It is powered by the Media Tek Dimensity 7100 5G processor and includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 camera, Live Photo and AI Eraser features. An 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The device packs a 6,000mAh battery with 45W Fast Charge, IP68-rated dust and water resistance, NFC and a customisable One-Tap AI Button with Gemini access. It runs Android 16, with three major OS updates and five years of security patches.

The launch could intensify competition in Siliguri’s ₹20,000-25,000 smartphone segment, where buyers are increasingly looking for 5G connectivity, high-refresh-rate displays, large batteries and premium-looking designs. The HOT 70 Pro’s combination of IP68 protection, Sony camera hardware and interactive rear lighting gives retailers a differentiated proposition for younger and feature-focused customers. The smartphone will be sold through Flipkart and retail stores in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB configurations, with no-cost EMI options for three, six and nine months.
