Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, who is usually known for his cool and friendly behaviour with fans and paparazzi, was seen getting visibly irritated after a fan tried to record him without permission.
The incident, the video of which is now going viral on social media platforms, took place when Arjun Kapoor was sitting inside his car.
According to the viral clip, a fan approached the actor and politely asked him for a photograph. Arjun, being his usual self, agreed and obliged for the picture.
However, things took a different turn when the fan, who is reportedly known for meeting several Bollywood celebrities and posting pictures and videos with them on social media, started recording a video of the actor instead of clicking a photo.
Arjun Kapoor immediately noticed that the fan was not taking a picture but was instead making a video of him.
Realising this, the actor appeared annoyed and asked the fan to stop recording. He was heard saying, “Video kyu bana raha hai? Photo le na (Why are you making video? Take a photo instead).”
Without waiting further, the actor rolled up his car window and left from the spot, making it clear that he was not comfortable with being recorded without his consent.
In the video, Arjun Kapoor looked stylish in a casual avatar. He was seen wearing a white t-shirt paired with a blue unbuttoned jacket, flaunting his well-groomed beard, neatly styled hair and a dog tag chain, which completed his look.
As soon as the video surfaced online, it sparked a debate among netizens. While a section of users supported the actor and said that privacy should be respected and fans should not record videos without permission, others felt that being a public figure, Arjun should have handled the situation more calmly.
This is not the first time that a celebrity has called out such behaviour. Many Bollywood stars in the past have requested fans and paparazzi to seek permission before recording videos or clicking pictures.
Arjun Kapoor, on the work front, was last seen in several projects and continues to remain active on social media, where he often shares candid and fun interactions with fans.
