ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has launched ICICI Pru iProtect Smart Her, a women-focused term insurance product combining financial protection with healthcare, wellness and flexibility benefits.The plan offers women a 15% lifetime premium discount and a pregnancy break benefit aimed at helping policyholders manage premium commitments during pregnancy. It also provides women-specific health management and wellness services worth up to ₹25,000.
The health package includes tele consultations across multiple specialties, annual health check-ups, health risk assessments, wellness content and discounts on pharmacy and diagnostic services. The company said total benefits available under the product are worth up to ₹92,100. The product also addresses household financial planning through its Child Education Care feature. Under the increasing income payout option, the death benefit is paid to the nominee as income and increases by 10% annually for 10 years.
Vikas Gupta, Chief Product Officer, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, said women’s financial planning requirements continue to evolve across different stages of life and require solutions addressing financial security, healthcare and wellness.The launch is supported by digital purchase, self-service and claims facilities. The insurer reported a 99.3% claims settlement ratio in Q1 FY2027, with an average one-day turnaround for non-investigative individual death claims.
