Škoda expands Slavia Monte Carlo lineup with new exclusive dual-tone colour editions

Škoda Auto India has announced the expansion of its Slavia Monte Carlo range with the introduction of two new exclusive dual-tone colour options—Shimla Green and Steel Grey—further enhancing the premium appeal of its flagship sedan. The limited-edition colours will be available on just 200 units across the 1.0-litre TSI automatic and 1.5-litre TSI DSG variants, offering customers a more distinctive ownership experience. Announcing the development, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the Slavia Monte Carlo has received an encouraging response for its premium styling, engaging driving dynamics and strong motorsport heritage. He said the introduction of the new colour options strengthens the individuality of the Monte Carlo range while reaffirming the company’s commitment to expanding its sedan portfolio in line with evolving customer preferences.

The Slavia Monte Carlo retains its signature blacked-out exterior styling, premium black-and-red cabin and feature-rich interior. It continues to be powered by Škoda’s 115 PS 1.0-litre TSI engine paired with a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission and the 150 PS 1.5-litre TSI engine mated to a seven-speed DSG gearbox. The 1.5-litre unit also features Active Cylinder Technology and Plasma-Coated Cylinder Liners to improve fuel efficiency and thermal management. The Monte Carlo badge celebrates Škoda Auto’s rich motorsport legacy, tracing its association with Rallye Monte Carlo back to 1912. Reinforcing its performance credentials, the company’s India lineup—including the Slavia Monte Carlo, Kushaq Monte Carlo, Kylaq, Kodiaq and limited-edition Octavia RS—recently secured an India and Asia Book of Records for the fastest multi-car relay by a single manufacturer at the CoASTT circuit in Coimbatore.

As a major automotive gateway for North Bengal and the Northeast, Siliguri is emerging as an important market for premium passenger vehicles. The launch of the limited-edition Slavia Monte Carlo is expected to appeal to customers seeking exclusivity, advanced technology and performance-oriented products. The move is also likely to strengthen Škoda’s premium brand positioning in the region through its expanding dealership and after-sales network. Škoda Auto India currently offers the Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq through more than 340 customer touchpoints across 189 cities. The company recorded sales of 72,665 vehicles in 2025, registering a 107 per cent year-on-year growth, while global deliveries exceeded 1.04 million vehicles, reflecting the brand’s sustained growth momentum in domestic and international markets.
