Transrail Lighting Boots Order Book to ₹16,361 Crore with Fresh T&D and Pole Wins

Leading turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company Transrail Lighting has secured fresh orders worth ₹575 crore. The new wins are primarily spread across its transmission and distribution (T&D), pole businesses, and specialized civil construction segments.

Among the major highlights of these new contracts is the construction of a high-stakes 500 kV HVDC transmission line for a marquee customer, alongside significant product supply orders in international markets. This momentum further solidifies the company’s massive operational footprint, which currently spans 63 countries.

With these latest additions, Transrail Lighting’s unexecuted order book—including its Lowest Bidder (L1) positions—reached a robust ₹16,361 crore as of March 31. This marks a healthy 12 percent growth year-on-year, showcasing a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across its core sectors, which include railways, civil works, poles, and lighting.

The order announcement follows a stellar financial performance for the fiscal year 2025-26 (FY26). The Mumbai-based infrastructure major reported a 23 percent surge in standalone net profit, climbing to ₹403.59 crore from ₹328.68 crore in the previous fiscal year (FY25).

Driving this bottom-line growth was a massive spike in top-line revenue. Transrail’s total income for FY26 jumped over 29 percent to reach ₹6,928.83 crore, compared to ₹5,353 crore in FY25. This robust combination of heavy order inflows and scaling financial metrics underscores Transrail’s strengthening position in the global EPC and power infrastructure landscape.
