Taneira eyes growing premium ethnic wear demand with Inaya saree launch

Taneira has launched ‘Inaya’, a contemporary saree collection designed for women seeking elegant yet effortless fashion for celebrations, weddings and festive gatherings. Starting at Rs 3,499, the collection reflects changing consumer preferences as more women look for versatile occasion wear that combines comfort, individuality and modern styling. Crafted largely from lightweight and flowy fabrics, the collection draws inspiration from nature and celestial movement, featuring abstract floral impressions, geometric influences and shades inspired by dawn, twilight and blooming landscapes. The collection has been positioned as accessible premium wear for intimate celebrations and milestone moments.

Speaking on the launch, Somprabh Kumar Singh said occasion wear contributes nearly 60–70 per cent of the company’s overall sales. He said women today want every celebration to reflect a different side of their personality, making expressive and adaptable fashion increasingly important in the ethnic wear market. The “Never Look the Same” concept behind Inaya, he added, is aimed at helping women celebrate with confidence and self-expression.

The company also highlighted its wedding-focused collections, The Valley of Flowers and Raas, while continuing expansion through 79 stores across 41 cities and partnerships with more than 100 weaving clusters across India.
