Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced the launch of a new Vi Movies & TV prepaid value pack priced at Rs. 200, reinforcing its focus on digital entertainment and value-added services. The new recharge offers customers access to 20 leading OTT platforms, more than 200 live TV channels, 30GB of high-speed data and unlimited 5G data with a validity of 28 days through a single subscription.
The company said the bundled offering is designed to simplify content consumption by eliminating the need for multiple OTT subscriptions and payments. Subscribers will gain access to popular streaming services including JioHotstar, SonyLIV, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, ManoramaMAX, FanCode, Playflix, Klikk, Atrangii, Chaupal, OTTplay Live, Pocket Films, YuppTV, Addatimes, KancchaLannka, TimesPlay and NextGTV, among others. Vi Movies & TV delivers content in 16 languages, catering to a broad mix of national, international and regional entertainment preferences. The plan also enables streaming across four devices with concurrent viewing on two screens across major OTT platforms, excluding SonyLIV, and is available through the Vi App and other recharge channels.
The announcement aligns with Vi’s broader strategy of strengthening its digital ecosystem as it continues expanding its network capabilities. Vodafone Idea, a partnership between the Aditya Birla Group and Vodafone Group, currently offers pan-India voice and data services across 2G and 4G networks, holds 5G spectrum in 17 circles and mmWave spectrum in 16 circles, and is in the process of rolling out 5G services across 17 circles.
In Siliguri, the launch is expected to strengthen Vi’s appeal among prepaid users in North Bengal, where demand for affordable digital entertainment and multilingual content continues to grow. As one of eastern India’s key commercial hubs, Siliguri presents significant opportunities for telecom operators to drive higher data consumption and customer engagement through bundled OTT offerings, particularly among students, working professionals and digitally connected households.
