Škoda Auto India has launched its new brand campaign, ‘G.O.A.T – Greatest On A Track’, highlighting the company’s performance-driven engineering and motorsport legacy amid its rapid expansion in the Indian market. The campaign redefines the popular term ‘Greatest of All Time’ as ‘Greatest On A Track’, reinforcing the brand’s focus on dynamic capability, safety and driving performance.
The campaign was launched with a record certified by the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records for the ‘Fastest Multi-Car Relay of a Single Manufacturer on a Circuit’. The feat was achieved at the Coimbatore Automotive Sports and Technical Training (CoASTT) circuit, where a fleet of five Škoda cars completed the relay in 12:30.97, including pit-lane changeovers.
The fleet included the Kylaq 1.0 AT, Kushaq 1.5 DSG, Slavia 1.5 DSG, Kodiaq Selection L&K and the Octavia RS. The Octavia RS clocked the fastest lap at 2:10.85 on the 3.8-km track. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Škoda Auto India, said the campaign reflects the company’s effort to democratise performance across segments while delivering safety, control and precision engineering.
Škoda Auto said its global motorsport heritage dates back 125 years, while the RS badge has completed more than 50 years. The company delivered over 1.04 million vehicles globally in 2025 and recorded a 107 per cent year-on-year growth in India with sales of 72,665 cars. The automaker currently operates across 182 Indian cities with more than 330 customer touchpoints.
