Sandisk has launched the WD_BLACK™ SN7100 NVMe™ SSD in India, offering mainstream gamers significantly faster load times, higher endurance and larger storage capacities. Built with Sandisk’s latest TLC 3D NAND, the new drive delivers speeds of up to 7,250MB/s read and 6,900MB/s write on 1TB–2TB models, marking a 35% performance jump over the previous generation.
With modern games increasing in size, the SN7100 provides up to 4TB of storage — enough for large game libraries, updates and downloadable content. The SSD also features up to 1,200TBW endurance (4TB model), making it ideal for gameplay streaming, speedrun recording and content creation.
For Siliguri’s growing community of PC gamers and tech enthusiasts especially those upgrading laptops and handheld gaming devices the SN7100’s improved power efficiency is a key advantage. Sandisk says the drive is up to 100% more power-efficient at peak speeds compared to its predecessor, allowing longer gaming sessions without thermal or battery concerns. The SSD is now available across major IT resellers and online platforms, with prices starting at ₹4,899 for the 500GB model.
