Vi Shops have been rolled out in urban locations

In line with its strategy to get closer to rural consumers, leading telecom operator, Vi, has launched over 200 new format ‘Vi Shops’ across Tier 3 locations in West Bengal. Ramping-up its retail footprint, Vi Shops have been launched in towns like Digha, Farakka, Jiagunj, Kalimpong, Nabadwip, Nandigram, Palassy, PatharPratima, Rampurhat, Sainthiato name a few.

Vi Shops have been rolled out in urban locations to provide a uniform Vi experience and quick support and handholding. They offer the entire bouquet of Vi prepaid products and services and enable an enhanced customer experience and closer engagement. The modern design is in line with existing Vi Stores in urban locations.  Vi has been at the forefront of introducing innovative concepts, products and services to serve the diverse aspirations of customers. Through the Vi Shops, Vi aims to increase awareness and adoption of its Telco++ offerings, curated as a result of partnerships domain experts in areas such as Jobs & Skilling, Govt. Exam preparation, English language skills.

Vi’s new rural prepaid stores are designed to meet customer needs while capturing their core brand attitude. Highlighting the strategic objective behind this retail expansion initiative, Abhijit Kishore, COO, Vodafone Idea Limited, said “This will help us get closer to our customers providing them convenience and simplicity in accessing service through trained personnel in welcoming surroundings.”
