Two more individuals have been apprehended in the Siliguri Ramakrishna Mission land-grabbing case

In a significant development in the Siliguri Ramakrishna Mission land-grabbing case, recently two more individuals have been apprehended. Actually the arrested accused are Bidhan Halder (40) from Shaktigarh and Sanjay Sikder (32) from the Subhas Pally area. Consequently, the number of individuals actually arrested rises up to 13. Notably, on May 19, an attempt by the land mafia armed with firearms and weapons to seize Ramakrishna Mission property led to a formal complaint filed at Bhakti Nagar police station. Subsequently, authorities arrested 11 individuals, including Pradip Roy and Alok Das, and suspects associated with the KGF gang, based on the complaint.

In the recent arrest, both the accused were actually apprehended from Mandarmani in the Purba Medinipur district on Monday evening. The authorities have identified the suspects as being linked to a notorious land mafia. Following their arrest, both individuals were actually presented before the Jalpaiguri court. The police are actively investigating the case to uncover further details and connections.
