Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported a landmark achievement in June 2024, recording its highest monthly sales to date with 27,474 units sold. This marks a substantial 40% increase from June 2023, underlining TKM’s robust growth momentum. The sales comprised 25,752 units in the domestic market and 1,722 units exported, reflecting strong demand for TKM’s MPV and SUV lineup.
Mr. Sabari Manohar, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, credited the company’s customer-centric approach and enhanced service offerings for driving this impressive performance. The launch of the Urban Cruiser Taisor has been particularly successful, with orders doubling compared to the previous month. This model, available with multiple engine options, has bolstered TKM’s presence in the competitive SUV segment. In addition to major cities, TKM’s strategic focus on expanding into smaller regions and rural areas has paid off, broadening its customer base significantly. Notably, the Kolkata market has seen notable growth, contributing to TKM’s overall sales surge. This strategic expansion aligns with TKM’s goal of providing quality vehicles and services across diverse market segments.
The first half of 2024 has seen TKM achieve a remarkable 47% growth year-on-year, selling 1,50,250 units compared to 1,02,371 units in the same period last year.
