Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has inaugurated its first Company Owned Toyota Used Car Outlet (TUCO) in Northeast India, further strengthening its foothold in the pre-owned car market. Located in Guwahati, the outlet spans 4,000 square feet and displays over 15 certified Toyota vehicles. This is TKM’s third TUCO facility in India, following launches in Bengaluru and Delhi.
Under its “Toyota U-Trust” brand, TUCO offers vehicles inspected through a 203-point quality check by Toyota-trained technicians. Features like a transparent valuation tool, warranty of up to two years or 30,000 kilometers, and three complimentary services ensure a seamless ownership experience. TUCO’s signature ‘MARU MARU’ cleaning process adds to the brand’s reliability and trust.
The new Guwahati facility is poised to benefit neighboring markets like Siliguri, a vital center for trade and mobility in North Bengal. With Toyota’s high-quality refurbished vehicles, Siliguri’s consumers can access reliable mobility solutions that meet rising aspirations in semi-urban regions. With India’s organized used car market projected to grow at 8% CAGR, the Northeast, led by hubs like Guwahati, is emerging as a strategic region. TKM’s latest initiative aligns with the government’s regional development goals and its customer-centric approach.
