To tap sports talents in Assam, mega sporting completion to get started  

On Sunday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta BiSWA Sarma announced mega sporting competition across the state villages, Assam. The competition is organized to tap sport talents in the state.

“We will organise a ‘Khel Moharon’ involving all 27,000 villages of the state. It will be a three-month event from October with the players competing in five disciplines,” the CM said during the event.

Assam Chief Minister also spoke about distributing appointment letters to those who own medals at 36th National Games in Gujarat.

Sarma urged the players to pursue their sports passionately; its support from government will be fulfilled in the state, Assam.
