To launch intra-state flying services, the Assam government strikes an agreement with Flybig

The Assam government inked an MoU with Big Charter Private Limited (Flybig) on Saturday to facilitate aviation services in the non-Udaan sector in an effort to encourage intra-state air connectivity.
Daily flights will be run by Flybig between the Guwahati-Silchar-Guwahati and Guwahati-Dibrugarh-Guwahati routes, a business spokesman announced.
In the presence of the chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, the agreement was signed by the managing directors of the Assam Tourist Development Corporation and Flybig, respectively.
