Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced significant feature enhancements to its Urban Cruiser Hyryder, reaffirming its commitment to safety, comfort, and connected mobility. These updates aim to enrich the driving experience and address evolving customer preferences in India’s booming SUV segment.
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder, India’s first self-charging strong hybrid electric SUV, has surpassed one lakh sales. Key upgrades include six airbags as standard across all variants, structural enhancements for improved crash protection, and an electronic parking brake in select automatic variants. Performance gets a boost with the introduction of a 6-speed automatic transmission in the AWD version.
Comfort and tech enhancements feature ventilated seats for driver and co-driver, 8-way adjustable power driver seat, ambient lighting, real-time tyre pressure monitoring, and LED reading lamps. Connectivity upgrades include fast-charging Type-C USB ports and an improved infotainment display with Air Quality Index monitoring. The Hyryder’s hybrid technology, premium features, and fuel efficiency align well with customer expectations in this growing automotive hub. The enhanced Urban Cruiser Hyryder is now available starting at Rs. 11.34 lakh (ex-showroom).
