Three wild elephants were killed after being hit by a train

On 27th November three wild elephants were killed after being hit by a train in the Rajabhatkhawa forest of Dooars. As per the reports on Monday morning a herd of elephants suddenly appeared in front of a goods train moving towards Siliguri from Alipurduar. In this incident three elephants including an adult, a middle aged and a calf perished after being hit by the train. After receiving the news the staff of the Forest Department and Railways went to the spot and started an investigation. Currently, the forest department personnel are engaged in further investigation of the entire matter.

This incident is very sad as innocent animals are killed by human activity. People need to care animals as they are very important for the world. We should not become very selfish as this world is not only for us as all living creature need life. Actually the railway system needs to be improved as many accidents are occurring due to it. Safety should be the primary thing in any place and we should respect this innocent creature so that we live in a peaceful world. It is expected that in future this type of accident will not occur.
