Three Miscreants Arrested In Siliguri

Three criminals were apprehended by Bhakti Nagar police on Wednesday evening in the Salugara neighbourhood of Siliguri before they could execute a prearranged heist. Amjad Ahmed, Kamal Thapa, and Muhammad Habib have been named as the defendants. About ten people had congregated close to the Jeevan Deep Complex in Salugara, according to police sources. After learning of this, plainclothes officers began an operation and apprehended three individuals; the others escaped.

The three acknowledged during interrogation that they were planning a robbery in the city. In their possession, police also found a motorcycle, three cell phones, and tools used for the crime.

On Thursday, the accused appeared in court in Jalpaiguri. A thorough inquiry into the situation has been started by the police
