Elon Musk’s company Tesla is working very fast with self-driving cars. 100GB of data has been leaked to German media on Tesla, linked to thousands of customer complaints about the company’s fully self-driving (FSD) cars. This data has been leaked at a time when Tesla CEO Elon Musk has recently claimed that his company will launch a fully self-driving car by the end of this year.

What are the problems people are having with Tesla cars?

The leaked data includes complaints from customers in the US, Europe, and Asia about problems with Tesla’s self-driving cars from 2015 to March 2022. Out of this, 2400 complaints are about acceleration, 1500 complaints about braking, and 139 complaints about unnecessary emergency brakes. There are 383 reports of it giving false signals of success. There are many complaints that the car is suddenly rammed by a wall or by an oncoming car.

What did Tesla say about the data?

As soon as Tesla was informed of the leaked data. The company demands that the data be deleted because it has been stolen.

What is Tesla’s FSD?

The American electric car company Tesla makes very modern cars. The company’s cars are provided with full self-driving features (FSD), with the help of which the car is able to drive itself without human help.

In November 2022, following an investigation by the US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), a beta version of the company’s FSD software was offered for free to customers after objections were raised.

The SEC’s investigation was launched to determine whether Tesla was violating regulations to make its FSD a success.
