Rajganj, 25 June: Theft in a shop in Bandhunagar, Rajganj has spread unrest in the area. Late on Monday night, thieves broke into a bike garage by cutting the tin roof of it and stole many items including expensive tools for opening bike parts.
It is told that when the shop employee Prasenjit Mandal opened the shop on Tuesday morning, he came to know about the theft. He said all the expensive parts used for repairing the bikes along with other items from the shop were stolen, causing a total loss of around Rs 60,000.
Incidents of theft occasionally occur in Bandhunagar and traders are now demanding increased police patrolling in the area to prevent future incidents.
