Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang officially opened the newly built Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) office building in Dentam, Gyalshing district, reaffirming his dedication to state government, according to a release. It added that the recently built, cutting-edge facility would improve administrative effectiveness and bring governance closer to the people of West Sikkim. According to the CM, the area’s growth and development are encouraged by the new infrastructure, which also aims to enhance public service delivery.
In order to bridge the divide between the administration and the people it serves, the SDM office will act as a focal point for resolving the complaints and requirements of the neighborhood, the chief minister continued. On January 16, the DAC in Gangtok took the most significant step by launching new infrastructure and cutting-edge systems. Kala Rai, MLA Burtuk and advisor to the Rural Development Department, spearheaded the district’s flagship event and started a number of significant projects to enhance the provision of public services. The introduction of a token management system and a refurbished single-window system were two of the inauguration’s noteworthy elements.
