The fourth edition of HOPECON concludes successfully after three days of transformative discussions at Kolkata

The fourth edition of HOPECON – the National Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Medi-Edu-Care Conference – wrapped up in Kolkata with record-breaking participation, marking a major milestone in India’s healthcare dialogue. Organized by the Kolkata Nurture Foundation (KNF) under the leadership of Dr. Payodhi Dhar, the event brought together over 1,000 eminent medical professionals and more than 6,500 delegates from across India.

Held at ITC Royal Bengal, the three-day conference saw six parallel academic halls, live workshops, and wide-ranging sessions spanning 38 medical specialties. From cardiology to digital health, and psychiatry to climate change, HOPECON’25 served as a convergence point for critical issues in patient-centric care and education.

In North Bengal, medical professionals and students welcomed the event’s inclusive agenda and access to high-value academic content. Several North Bengal delegates highlighted the benefits of the exposure, particularly in underrepresented fields like geriatric care, mental health, and medico-legal awareness, which are gaining relevance in the region’s semi-urban and rural healthcare setups. Founding President Dr. Payodhi Dhar emphasized HOPECON’s mission: “Healthcare is central to nation-building. Through education, employment, and empowerment, we’re reshaping India’s healthcare future.” Eminent figures like Dr. Farokh Udwadia and Prof. Dr. Sukumar Mukherjee lauded the initiative as a transformative national movement.
