TCS and Karnataka Govt. opened registrations for TCS Rural IT Quiz program

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) and the Department of Electronics, IT, BT and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, announced that registrations for the 24th edition of the TCS Rural IT Quiz program are now open. The event is part of Bengaluru Tech Summit 2023. The quiz, a combination of online tests and virtual and physical shows, is open to Class 8-12 students from smaller Indian towns and districts, but not to schools within city corporation limits.

It will explore the application of technology across various sectors, including banking, education, entertainment, books, multimedia, music, movies, internet, advertising, sports, gaming, social networking, and mobiles. The quiz is not open to schools within city corporation limits.

Eight Regional Finals will be held across India, with the winner invited to the National Finals in Bengaluru in November. Regional winners and runners-up will receive gift vouchers of Rs 10,000 and Rs 7,000, while National winners and runner-ups will receive TCS education scholarships of Rs 100,000 and Rs 50,000. Students can register for the quiz before September 21, 2023.
