Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies and a leading EV charging infrastructure provider, in its continued endeavour to boost EV adoption in the country, has installed public charging stations at Golden Park Hotel & Resort near Malda. Golden Park Hotel & Resort is one of the largest Leisureplex and Conference Center of mid Bengal, situated on National Highway 34 at Malda, the gate way to North East India.
Tata Power has installed two EV charging stations at Golden Park Hotel & Resort, 5km from Malda railway station and Kolkata-Siliguri highway, with capacities of 30 kW and 7.4 kW. The visionary partnership is a testimony to Tata Power’s commitment to making sustainable mobility mainstream.
The Tata Power EZ Charge mobile app, downloaded by over 1 lakh people in India, enables travellers to locate nearby charging stations at Golden Park hotel. Tata Power has a vast network of public and semi-public charging points, home chargers, electric bus charging points, and live EV charging in 550 cities. This deployment aligns with India’s carbon neutrality goal of Net Zero by 2070 and the NEMMP’s goal of developing electric vehicle charging infrastructure using advanced technology.
