Tata Mutual Fund has officially launched a new branch in Siliguri, reflecting its commitment to expanding its presence in West Bengal. Inaugurated by Hemant Kumar, Chief Business Officer at Tata Asset Management, the branch is strategically located at Shop No. 10, 1st Floor, Block-C, Shelcon Plaza, Kartar Market, Sevoke Road.
As of September 2024, the Average Assets Under Management (AAUM) in Siliguri has surged to approximately INR 290 crore, showcasing an impressive 48% growth over the past year. This growth highlights Siliguri’s evolving investment landscape, as local investors increasingly turn to mutual funds for wealth management. The diverse range of investment options—including equities, debt, balanced funds, and ETFs—positions Siliguri as a burgeoning market for financial services.
Kumar expressed excitement about the new branch, stating, “We are delighted to expand in a city with significant growth prospects. This move reinforces our commitment to providing accessible wealth-building opportunities and enhancing financial literacy in the region.” With this addition, Tata Mutual Fund now operates over eight branches in West Bengal and has a national network of 100 branches, dedicated to helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. The Siliguri branch will operate from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
