Tata AIA scales up insurance awareness in West Bengal

Tata AIA Life Insurance has been actively working to promote insurance awareness and penetration in West Bengal, aligning with the IRDAI’s vision of ‘Insurance for All by 2047’. As the leading insurer in the state, Tata AIA has implemented various strategies to engage potential customers and increase their understanding of life insurance benefits.

Key initiatives undertaken by Tata AIA include: (1) Career Opportunity Presentations: The company organized events to recruit life insurance advisors in Siliguri and Krishnagar, attracting approximately 70 attendees. (2) Bimarath: A unique on-ground initiative conducted in collaboration with IndusInd Bank, involving promotional vans and outreach activities to over 5,000 potential consumers. (3) Partnerships: Tata AIA partnered with the Chartered Accountants Association of Malda and the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry to raise awareness about life insurance solutions and their benefits.

Ongoing Initiatives: (1) Masik Bima Divas: Monthly events to educate consumers about life insurance. (2) Social Media Campaigns: Using local themes and icons to reach over 2 million users in West Bengal. (3) Common Service Center (CSC) Network: Leveraging VLEs to distribute life insurance solutions in rural areas.Through these efforts, Tata AIA has successfully increased its penetration in West Bengal, securing the lives of over 11,000 consumers as of July 2024.
