Specta Quartz Surfaces, India’s luxury engineered quartz brand from ARL Group, has strengthened its presence in North East India with a showcase at CONWOO Siliguri 2026, East India’s largest international exhibition for construction, building materials, architecture and wood innovations. The participation marks Specta’s intent to tap an emerging market that is witnessing rising urbanisation, exposure to global design trends and increasing demand for premium housing and hospitality projects.
The North East has historically been underpenetrated for engineered quartz surfaces, but changing consumer preferences and infrastructure-led growth are opening new opportunities. Specta expects the eastern region to contribute nearly 5 per cent of its overall sales in the initial phase as awareness and adoption of premium quartz products increase. At the exhibition, the company introduced its newly launched X-Ellence Series, comprising ten colours drawn from its popular Maven, Allura, Pastel Poise and Aura collections. The range is positioned for residential, commercial and hospitality applications, combining durability with refined aesthetics.
Siliguri is emerging as a strategic gateway to the North East, driven by improved road and air connectivity, rapid urban development and rising investments in hotels, luxury real estate and government-backed infrastructure. These factors are turning the city into a key distribution and design hub for premium construction materials across the region. Founder Ankit Jain said the company sees strong long-term potential in the North East and aims to build early partnerships through on-ground engagement and exhibitions as the region’s built environment evolves.
