Samsung India announced the Top 10 teams of its national education and innovation competition, ‘Solve for Tomorrow’, celebrating the spirit of innovation, enterprise and social responsibility amongst India’s Gen Z. The program ends with the announcement of three national winners, each with a chance to win INR 1.5 crore in prize money.
Name of top ten teams are Demeter, Hackvengers, Jalraaj, Milaan, Musketeers, NIT Surat, Releathered, TEG, Think, Touchpad. Top 10 cities teams tackle real-world problems like seawater conversion, pest identification, food waste, beach cleaning, sustainable tanning, and accessibility for hearing loss individuals. They also aim to bridge communication gaps, find missing children, and help individuals stay cool and read.
Top 10 teams hail from Uttar Pradesh, Lakhimpur and Golaghat in Assam, Darjeeling in West Bengal, Surat and Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Ernakulam in Kerala, Chennai and Delhi. Mr. Hyun Kim, Corporate Vice President, Samsung Southwest Asia said, “We look forward to how the Top 10 teams strengthen their solutions with the help of mentors from Samsung and its partners.”The News18 Group will produce a TV series featuring 10 teams, broadcast on national channels and JioCinema. The winners will receive the Galaxy Z Flip smartphone.
