Škoda Auto India announced a significant corporate milestone as its compact SUV, the Škoda Kylaq, completed one year in the Indian market with cumulative sales crossing 50,000 units. The achievement comes on the back of the company’s strongest-ever performance in 2025 and reinforces the Kylaq’s role as a core growth pillar in the sub-4m SUV segment.
To mark the milestone, the company has expanded the Kylaq range from four to six variants, now offered across 11 price points. A new Classic+ variant has been introduced, making the Kylaq the most accessible model in its segment with a full-fledged torque converter automatic. The line-up has also been strengthened with a new top-end Prestige+ variant. Feature democratisation across variants includes electric sunroof, cruise control, Auto IRVM, rain-sensing wipers, multi-function steering wheel and LED lighting, while Signature and Signature+ trims receive multiple upgrades.
The Kylaq continues to lead on safety, retaining the highest Bharat NCAP ratings among ICE vehicles in its segment, six airbags standard across all variants, extended warranty, roadside assistance and labour-free service packages. Limited-period anniversary benefits of up to ₹50,000, discounted maintenance packages and assured gifts are available till February 28, 2026.
Commenting on the milestone, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the achievement reflects growing customer trust and the brand’s long-term commitment to democratising European technology in India.
In Siliguri, the Kylaq has seen consistent traction, supported by rising demand for compact SUVs offering automatic transmissions, strong safety credentials and premium features. Dealers expect the expanded variant mix and anniversary-led value propositions to further strengthen Škoda Auto India’s presence in North Bengal’s evolving automotive landscape.
