Škoda Auto India is making a bold entry into the compact SUV segment with the launch of the all-new Kylaq, set to debut globally on November 6, 2024. This strategic move aligns with Škoda’s ambitions to grow its brand in India, particularly in the sub-4m category, which accounts for nearly 30% of the country’s car market. Designed with high levels of localization, the Kylaq features modern, bold styling, advanced safety technologies, and a powerful 1.0 TSI engine.
Piyush Arora, Managing Director and CEO of Škoda Auto Volkswagen India, expressed pride in introducing a vehicle that embodies the Group’s DNA of driving dynamics and safety. “Kylaq is designed and engineered in India for India and represents a significant milestone in our growth strategy,” he stated.
In Siliguri, a region witnessing increasing demand for SUVs, the Kylaq is expected to resonate well with local consumers. With its combination of robust features and appealing aesthetics, the vehicle aligns perfectly with the preferences of Siliguri’s burgeoning market.
