Škoda Auto India achieves its highest-ever half-yearly sales

Škoda Auto India has recorded its highest-ever half-yearly sales, selling 36,194 units between January and June 2025—a staggering 134% increase over the same period in 2024. The milestone coincides with Škoda’s 25th anniversary in India and 130th globally, propelling the company into the top seven automotive brands in the country—a jump of four spots in a single year.

Brand Director Ashish Gupta credited the landmark performance to strong customer acceptance, product innovation, and an expanding dealership network. “With the addition of the Kylaq—our ‘SUV for Everyone’—and the second-gen Kodiaq, we are offering unmatched value and mobility solutions across India,” Gupta said.

The Czech carmaker’s growing footprint, now over 295 touchpoints and aiming for 350 by end-2025, underlines its commitment to reach every Indian market tier, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Its SUV portfolio, including the Kushaq and Kylaq, along with the Slavia sedan, continues to draw wide interest. Škoda’s expanded portfolio and service network have led to a marked uptick in showroom visits and bookings. Local dealers report robust demand for both the Kylaq and Kushaq, attributing the trend to rising aspirations for premium yet affordable vehicles.
