Škoda Auto India today announced a landmark sales achievement, registering its highest-ever annual volumes within the first ten months of 2025. The company sold 61,607 vehicles between January and October 2025, surpassing its previous full-year record of 53,721 units set in 2022. October 2025 emerged as the best sales month in Škoda’s India journey with 8,252 units sold, driven by strong customer demand across product lines. This milestone coincides with Škoda marking 25 years in India.
The company attributed its success to the strong performance of the Kylaq — its first sub-4m SUV — which has recorded nearly 40,000 units since launch, supported by the Kushaq, Slavia, flagship luxury 4×4 Kodiaq, and the Octavia RS, which sold out within 20 minutes. Škoda also crossed 200,000 locally produced cars, while expanding to 318 customer touchpoints across 180 cities, alongside 50% workforce expansion plans and 25,000 training days to enhance aftersales quality.
In Siliguri, a key growth hub for North Bengal and gateway to the Northeast, the brand continues to witness growing traction in the premium SUV and sedan segments. Dealer feedback indicates rising preference for European-engineered vehicles among aspirational buyers in the ₹12 lakh to ₹40 lakh category, supported by improving service accessibility and increasing urban consumption patterns in the region. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the milestone reflects “purpose, clarity, and agility” in execution as the company continues its customer-first expansion and brand building initiatives in India.
