Sikkim CM expresses reverence for sacred shrine on Rholu Diwas

Prem Singh Tamang, the chief minister of Sikkim, wished the state’s citizens a very happy Rholu Diwas and conveyed his profound respect. In a message to the state’s citizens, the Sikkim chief minister talked about his strong bond with the revered Rholu shrine, describing it as a location where the blessings of Manokamana Siddhi Devi Rholu Mata profoundly touch his soul, despite his inability to attend the festivities in person.

“The most revered shrine is Rholu, where the heavenly and nourishing vibrations of Rholu Mata’s blessings profoundly affect my spirit. My heart is bursting with excitement and a strong desire to join our beloved people in communal worship and joy on this auspicious occasion of Rholu Diwas,” Tamang stated. The chief minister apologized for being unable to attend the festivities in person because he had to travel to Tripura for the 72nd Plenary Meeting of the North Eastern Council (NEC).

But while they commemorated this momentous day, he reassured the populace that his spirit was with them. Rholu Diwas is a time to celebrate the bravery, solidarity, and tenacity of the Sikkim people. Tamang used the occasion to express his appreciation and respect for the people’s sacrifices, which served as a springboard for a revolutionary struggle against historical injustices. For the wealth, success, and well-being of the Sikkimese, he exhorted everyone to seek Rholu Manokamana Siddhi Devi’s heavenly blessings.
