Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the world leader in lighting, opened its latest Philips Smart Light Hub in Axis Mall in New Town, Kolkata. The store was inaugurated by leading actress Swastika Mukherjee, and Sumit Padmakar Joshi, CEO, Signify South Asia. With this latest launch, the company has increased its retail presence to 11 exclusive lighting stores in the city, offering customers a wide selection of home lighting products.
The Philips Smart Light Hub in Kolkata is 628 square feet and showcases over 350 lighting products. It is designed to replicate an actual home setting with a living room, bedroom, dining room and other application areas. Customers can experience the products on offer and transform their lighting experience. Sumit Joshi, CEO, Signify South Asia, said “Kolkata is fast emerging as a growing market for us, and we are investing significantly in expanding our reach here.”
