Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Tourism Ministers’ Conference will be held in India

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Tourism Ministers’ Conference will be held in India on March 17–18 in Kashi (Varanasi), which has been named the organization’s first cultural capital. India is the SCO’s current chair. A coordinated action plan to improve tourism cooperation among SCO members will be adopted during the meeting of tourism ministers (TMM), according to a statement from the ministry of tourism. The TMM will be preceded on March 14 and 15 by the second meeting of the Tourism Expert Working Group. The dignitaries will debate and finalise a shared action plan during the meeting, which will be followed by its adoption at the SCO Tourism Ministers’ conference on March 17.
