Amit Shah, the union home minister, inspected the security grid’s operation and all other security-related issues in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. He also reaffirmed the Narendra Modi administration’s unwavering commitment to the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism. Shah also went through the G20 conference preparations that would take place in Srinagar the following month and gave orders for all pertinent organisations to coordinate their efforts to ensure a successful occasion. Shah evaluated the operation of the security grid and several security-related issues at the security review meeting, which was also attended by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, according to an official release.
