Samsung’s ‘Solve for Tomorrow’ season 3 announced, over INR 90 lakh grants to empower youth innovators

Samsung has rolled out the third season of its esteemed CSR initiative, ‘Solve for Tomorrow.’ Collaborating with FITT IIT-Delhi, the Ministry of Electronics & IT, and the United Nations in India, Samsung aims to ignite innovation and tackle societal challenges head-on.This year, ‘Solve for Tomorrow’ introduces two distinctive tracks, catering to diverse age groups and themes. The ‘School Track’ is tailored for students aged 14-17, centered on ‘Community & Innovation,’ while the ‘Youth Track’ targets individuals aged 18-22, focusing on ‘Environment & Sustainability.’

Commencing from April 9, 2024, and running until May 31, 2024, aspiring participants can submit their groundbreaking ideas through the official website, www.samsung.com/in/solvefortomorrow. Selected teams will undergo rigorous training sessions conducted by industry experts, benefit from technical support, and receive mentorship to refine their concepts into impactful solutions.

Winning teams will receive substantial grants for further development. The ‘Community Champion’ from the School Track will secure a seed grant of INR 25 lakh, while the ‘Environment Champion’ from the Youth Track will receive a grant of INR 50 lakh for incubation at IIT-Delhi.Additionally, participants stand a chance to vie for coveted accolades such as the ‘Social Media Champion Award’ and the ‘Goodwill Award,’ elevating the program’s prestige and recognizing outstanding contributions to societal betterment.
