Rexona, the world’s top deodorant brand, launched the ‘Breaking Limits: Girls Can’ series in India to help more girls play football. The brand believes movement can transform lives, but not everyone has the confidence to move. Rexona’s mission goes beyond providing freshness and aims to reshape confidence in motion, fostering inclusivity and change.
Rexona introduces the Breaking Limits Programme, a free digital training series for coaches, community leaders, and mentors to boost youth confidence and opportunities. The Girls Can series focuses on creating safe environments, boosting self-esteem, and ensuring inclusivity for all ethnicities. Ashwath Swaminathan, Head India Oral Care and Deos said: “Rexona stands as a beacon of support, motivating girls to dream big, play their hearts out, and demonstrate that they can achieve greatness beyond any limitation.”
Rexona’s new campaign is set to launch this week, highlighting the shocking fact that less than 1% of girls in India participate in football. A Kolkata art installation features a hundred white jerseys with a pink shirt representing the 1%, highlighting the disparity in income, with public, Aditi Chauhan (Goalkeeper for the National Indian Women’s team) and influencers engaging with the message.
