RedBus, the world’s largest online bus ticketing platform, has partnered with Sikkim Nationalised Transport (SNT), a prominent state-owned bus transport corporation, to revolutionize bus travel in Sikkim. The partnership adds 550 seats to redBus’ inventory and provides access to 75 routes across Sikkim.
The 25 SNT Services will initially be available on the redBus platform for online bookings, with plans to incorporate additional private undertaking services in the future. SNT, powered by redBus GDS (back-end technology), aims to enable travelers to easily book their bus tickets online for inter and intra-state travel in the region.
The redBus app and website will now offer SNT bus tickets and services, accessible through redBus and all its group platforms, including Make My Trip and Goibibo. Raj Yadav, Secretary of the Transport Department, Government of Sikkim, expressed his delight in the partnership and emphasized the company’s commitment to leveraging technology for the benefit of travelers in Sikkim.
