Recently the cops of Siliguri police station have apprehended two individuals with illegal foreign liquor worth lakhs of rupees in Siliguri. Actually the arrested accused identified as Rajesh Kumar (33), a resident of Bihar, and Mohammad Imran (23), a resident of Vishwas Colony area of Matigara. Reportedly, acting on a tip-off, the police actually raided the Jalpai More area under the jurisdiction of Siliguri police station and intercepted an e-rickshaw late on Monday night. In fact during the search, illegal foreign liquor worth lakhs was recovered from the vehicle, which prompted their arrest.
Actually police sources revealed that the liquor was being transported to Bihar for smuggling. On Tuesday, the accused duo has been presented before the Siliguri court. At present, the police are engaged in further investigation. This actually very bad thing as this type of activity is happening and making our society with crime. In fact people should take this thing very strictly and inform about it immediately if they find anything suspicious.
